This is a pretty cool little neighbourhood pub. Curiously situated next to both a fire hall and a police station, it's so nestled in the residential area that, if it's a bit dark, you might miss it altogether (there's lots of parking in the back).The drinks are good (though the variety of whiskeys and bourbons leaves something to be desired), the snacks are interesting, and the place is pretty full Friday evenings or on weekends.This place is pretty great for a guys' night out over beers and bigger parties alike.

Second best food I've had in Nanaimo.

We've been here a number of times and never been disappointed. However the dinner we had last evening was the best yet. We both chose the dinner special, a spaghetti dish with prawns, candied salmon and a lovely sauce. Delicious and reasonably priced. Nice selection of draft beers and wines all reasonably priced as well. Service was great, fiendly and helpful. For the value this has got to be one of the top restaurants/pubs in Nanaimo. We'll be back

Wow a nice surprise. An older house rethought, so different room to socialize. I didn't see a tv so I don't know about sports watching. Has a patio, but with no views. A few beers on tap, a big wine rack though. My food was delicious, and other plates going by looked good.I'd definitely put it on your list to check out.P.S. Try the onion rings. Or have a wine on the front porch.

The ambiance at this pub is amazing! Feels like a cozy dinner party. Delicious food and an assortment of tasty bombers if you like local beer. Great location. Tucked away little gem that I was glad to find!

Stopped by on our way to the ferry. It has nice ambience and interior, really enjoyed the fireplace. Servers were kind, though food came out slowly and was just all right, and fairly expensive for the portions and value. Probably better if you will partake in the alcohol selection. Cheers 🍾

Been here a few times, food is always amazing, very impressed with everything I've had off the menu. Went for dinner for date night last week and had a 3 course meal with drinks , with tip the bill was around 100 bucks! Pretty reasonable I'd say. The only downside was that there was only one server on and the place was full, the waitress did a great job all things considered but the service did suffer a little bit because of that. But I'll definitely be going back. Great atmosphere too.

Really delicious food, great friendly service and a fun atmosphere. Heritage house meets English pub meets great food. Best calamari in town. Awesome pasta and burger, lovely cocktail menu. We will be back.

Food is fantastic. The ambiance and decor is charming and cozy. The outside patio is great. Been here twice and will return again.

Great little spot. Quaint and easy to hold a conversation since it is not loud at all inside. My sister decided to have the cannelloni and I was undecided. The waiter suggested the burger and stated that I would not be disappointed. Well I wasn't. Probably one of the best burgers I had in a long time.

Went on an afternoon while visiting Nanaimo and was not disappointed. The shrimp salad with watermelon (and lots of other yummy stuff) was perfect. Nice old house turned in to a pub. Will definitely return if I'm in Nanaimo again.

THIS PLACE IS HANDS DOWN. FRIST TIME HERE AND I WAS BLOWN AWAY HOW MUCH ATTENTION AND DETAIL WAS PUT INTO OUR FOOD. THE PRAWN PASTA & BURGER WAS MADE BEAUTIFULLY AND CRAFTED TO PERFECTION. SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE IS SO GENUINELY UNIQUE WITH CHARISMA. Thank you for the experience! We will be back.

This was without a doubt one of the best meals I have ever had. The combination of warm potato's, crunch of the poppyseed, and soft silk Tuna was an exquisite example of intentional dish creation. I am happy I splurged, it was absolutely worth it. Thank you, Milton St. Public House for a pleasant gem in the downtown area.

We stopped into the pub after work, before heading to the theatre. Ordered a carafe of wine along with the crispy cauliflower appies..It was awesome! Some of our friends who never had the cauliflower were impressed!

Delicious! Word of warning to tartar traditionalists - the tartar is not traditional. It was a mildly flavoured lemon sauce of some sort; I liked it, my husband did not. However, the fish and the fries were great. The atmosphere and service were warm and friendly. Nice courtyard. Definitely worth a visit.

This pub is one of the loveliest pubs I've ever been to. It is quietly located in the middle of the residential area looking like someone's house from the outside so it's difficult to tell whether it's a commercial building. For that reason, when we bumped into the sign board we hesitated to enter for a sec. As we opened the door, surprisingly lively and warm atmosphere was welcoming us. Good selection of drinks and the staff was genuinely friendly. We didn't have a chance to try the food but next time when we return to Nanaimo we will definitely try as it looked so good from other tables.

Delicious! servers were very careful to maintain 2m distancing, and set everything just on the edge of the table for us to pass among ourselves. Will be back to enjoy the patio ASAP!

Great atmosphere. Best burger in Nanaimo!

A busy place but they had one table available and we grabbed it. I had the tuna melt with fries and both were delicious. Nice atmosphere and the prices are about what you would expect. My friend had a wrap and it was rather messy to eat, but tasty. Given how busy they were, the service was very good. I'll be back!

we had gone there several times and the quality has always been outstanding. nice people and AWESOME food! unfortunately we had to move back overseas. we'll miss this restaurant.

Great time. An incredible menu and the food is cooked perfectly. Enjoyable atmosphere and a quaint building. All around a great place. Make a reservation though, it gets busy!

Got in line at 1145 and waited 30min for two people at the bar. WiFi accessible from outside! Sitting at the bar was fun watching the baristas and the servers completing orders. You'll do this for a while during peak hours. Staff is super attentive at the bar and constantly refill your water. Opt for a coffee.

Never knew this place existed until I saw it online. Decided to check it out and it was amazing,very nice. Excellent food and presentation,great service and prices were fair. The fries are like none I have ever tried before. We both had the Club house wrap and the server let us split the order so we had fries and salad. Excellent food flavours and cozy ambiance....lovely dining experience.

Love this place. The burgers are fantastic. All of the food I have had here is great. Atmosphere is super chill. There are a couple different 'rooms' which brings down the noise level. Staff are super friendly.

Great spot for food, drinks and ambiance! Not only has every meal I've tried exceeded my expectations but they always have delicious local beers on tap. Not the cheapest pub in town but well worth it :)

Excellent food and service. Great cocktails. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. It was the juiciest chicken served with pasta, that we have ever tasted. The fries are the best. Although it seemed understaffed, the server was friendly and the service was still great. Charming pub.

Amazing service, super kind and friendly host, Brad, whom I hope to see again. The burger was just “perfect” The patty was medium rare, REALLY, the bacon was so delicious and fresh and the mozzarella cheese just completed the combination.

I had the pleasure of attending a small wedding here today and I have to say the food, staff and atmosphere was OUTSTANDING! The kale ceaser salad was delicious and the roast chicken they served was amazing! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Nanaimo.
